LOLMSI：小组赛第三天成绩总结，RNG继续A组统治，DK惊险翻盘战胜DFM
RNG 胜UOL
尽管UOL在赛前宣传视频中扬言已经从之前的失利中调整过来，想要向RNG报仇，但RNG日益火热的状态还是轻松惩罚了UOL。 Wei再次拿到打野兰博，以9杀0杀的豪华战绩称霸赛场。 RNG取得四连胜。明天他们将在预选赛中率先出线，与另外两支球队展开一次又一次的较量。
PGG 击败UOL
遭遇三连败的PGG，已经是人们心目中公认的本届MSI最弱的队伍了。 UOL原本希望成为继RNG之后第二支从A组出线的队伍。然而输给RNG后，UOL似乎陷入了废墟。面对PGG的猛攻，他们彻底乱了套。 PGG展现了大洋洲冠军应有的激情，强势击败UOL，赢得首场胜利。结果，两队积分打平。
DK 胜DFM
DFM第二天爆冷战胜C9，是2021年MSI的最大惊喜。经历了此前在各项国际赛事中表现低迷后，他们在MSI赛场上展现出了全新的面貌。 DK看似轻敌，选择了后期阵容，却被DFM前期的进攻打得不知所措，陷入了巨大的麻烦。在路上，可汗两次被埃维杀死。然而DFM最后一刻功亏一篑，DK找到机会完成惊天翻盘。 DFM距离创造奇迹仅一步之遥，但也赢得了全球观众的尊重。
C9赢得INF
输给DFM后，C9两场比赛全部失利，晋级形势骤然严峻。好在INF战队输给DK后似乎失去了进攻的信心。双方前期进行了一场漫长而无聊的攻防战，INF在收获大量杀戮的同时，也放弃了大量的丛林资源。 C9终于在LCS联赛中找到了获胜的感觉，利用打野资源不断迫使对手犯错，从而赢得了MSI首场胜利。
疯狂赢得巴布亚新几内亚
统治B组的MAD在前三场比赛中的表现几乎是阶梯式下滑。第二局他们和IW有来有回，随后第三局PNG以较大优势抢到了男爵。而无法应对卡米尔的分推，巴布亚新几内亚险些成功抢断球队。最终巴新因为高地水晶的复活而没能偷到房子。 MAD有惊无险拿下第三局，以3-0获胜结束首轮。
巴黎圣日耳曼击败IW
PSG在首场比赛以巨大劣势输给MAD后逐渐找回了比赛状态，并在对阵B组其他对手的比赛中展现出了难能可贵的强势表现。IW在前期节奏比赛中失败后，基本上已经没有能力抵挡PSG的进攻了。进步。兰博大招一旦施展，就意味着IW的正面战陷入溃败。击败IW后，巴黎圣日耳曼以2胜1负排名B组第二。
